Black 5.0 rolling shots with RTR's...

Aww man what a fun time. Haaln and I headed out 281 to The Salt Lick for some afternoon Texas BBQ and on the way I decided to snap some shots are we were cruizin' along. His car was so clean I can't even describe it. The only thing that topped this car was the burnt brisket, which was amazing by the way, lol.

As for the color, I would say black, but there are two very impressive things about this car. The first, is with the naked eye it seems to be invisible as all you can see are reflections of it's surroundings. The second, is when putting the car under a polarizing filter it seems to completely black out, like to the point you can't see anything. It took some tricks to get the details out, but we managed fine.

The rest of the pics

Here are just a few of my favorites.

There ya go, again, link at the top to the rest of the set. :word:

Take the front plate off, it would look cleaner.

Nice shots though.

They are the Mustang RTR ("Ready To Rock") wheels

2005-2011 Mustang RTR Wheels "Ready to Rock" - LRS Blog - Read Here Shop Here

They look very similar to the SVT GT500 Performance Package wheels, which I think also look bad ass.

Ford Racing Performance Parts

The RTR's are a better deal though; all four wheels plus mounted and balanced NT555 tires on all four for $2k!

Agreed, nice pics, thanks for posting... and also bumping for specs.

Any chance you guys could share the following?

Tire: Falken FK452 (my guess)
Tire size: ?
Suspension: ?

Thanks,
Mike

It would be interesting to see how much faster the RTR goes around the track compared to a stock GT.

RTR vs Stock Gt

I would think it wouldn't be much of a difference since it is lowered with a stiffer suspension but no added power from what I have found in research. The RTRs are nice but that is $1200 wheels alone and wheels plus tires I have found at $2100. I have FR500s and those wheels are less than $1000 plus tires. I bought the car with them on it.

2011 Mustang GT, Kona Blue, 6MT with 3.55, FRPP Handling Kit, BBR O/R x-pipe with SVT mufflers, Basic GT with premium interior and Steering Wheel, Boss ground affects, FR SVT Track Pack wheels, Brembo and Security package

Plans: JLT CAI
