Talking 2012 Shelby Mustang GT350 Convertible - Hemmings Article

Nice article over on Hemmings about the 2012 Shelby GT350 Convertibles.

Yummy pictures and a link to a downloadable brochure included.

And catch that next to the last paragraph regarding 5.0 shortage... interesting!

If you love your dog, get a microchip, they really work! My lost dog was back home in just under 24 hours thanks to the good citizens who called the county and the microchip that told animal control exactly where he lived.

I wish the Onion News Network would release a segment on the Shelby GT-500000000000. Their writers could come up with something far more clever and snarky than I could...

Back in the late 60's & early 70's I loved Shelby Mustangs, they gave you something special. Now it's just an overpriced specialty car, that anyone could put together for thousands less, and still deliver the same or better performance. Every time I look at the Shelby GT500 Convertible at the nearby dealer with the 5K ADM on top of the 65k MSRP, I just have wonder who might be willing to pay.

Gone are the days when you could buy one of these and rub it with a diaper for 5-10 years and think you have an 'investment' you can sell for big money at auction. They are sure nice to look at, but that's about it, for me anyways.

I'm sure folks are lined up and down the block to outbid each other for one.

These 350's look so bland... that is an insane amount of money for what... a few body kit pieces, wheels and some stripes? these are not going to be a collectors item... those days are over. The Y2K R was the last "investment" mustang IMO.
