Does anyone know if this Ford Racing Strut Tower Brace 2005-10 Mustang V6 M-20201-F strut tower brace will fit with the Boss intake?

Thanks

strut tower brace

I sold mine for $100 on this site. You will likely see a lot of them for sale as people install boss intakes. I bought a new brace from Tousley Ford for $150.

Yea there are a number of people who got 18inch tires/no strut tower brace that would probably give $100 for one.

2011 Shelby GT 500: C&L CAI, Roush GT 500 Performance axlebacks, Steeda 2.65 Supercharger pulley with idler/belt tensioner, Ford SVT Custom Racing Tune, SVT package, Glass roof, Tech package

Any one able to compare the front end body roll/flex improvements with the brace as opposed to without?

I'm a rookie to newer high performance vehicles and guess this is it's intent. But how much flex this, aluminum I assume, bar can actually stop I can't help but wonder, considering the mass of this portion of the car and potential forces involved.

I don't mean to question anyones desire to have it at all. For a number of reasons I've recently dropped the Brembo package from my order and with the stock 18" wheels I'm expecting my GT won't have one.

They look cool to me and I'd have no problem dropping a hunerd or so on one.

Also curious of the bars weight...guessing < ~ 20#?

2012 GT Prem Cp, Kona w/MT-82, 401A, 3.73's & HID/Sec. GT-500 Spoiler & OE sidescoops. FR Pwr Upgrd & FR3 Adj Hndl Packs. MaxMoto CC plates. BMR Adj Panhard. 255/45 and 285/40-18 Conti DW's on silver Forgestar CF5's.Tint, clear bra, CDC Dead Pedal, JLT Oil Separator and Black in Back.

Ordered 3/18/11. Built 5/4. ETA 5/22. Arrived 5/24.

FYI: It's steel. And it will flex a lot less than the ones made from several welded thin tubes. In essence its a very big steel tube.

But, back to the OP...will the Ford Racing M-20201-S197 or the 20201-F (difference?) fit with the BOSS intake installed?

I'm thinking anything made for 05-10 GT with the plenum cover will work.
