It's different that's for sure
Interesting that it's basically a brand new car and has already been heavily modified but now is up for sale...

I personally dont mind some of the modification that person has clearly taken the time to do to his car, but it is infact HIS car. Its not what I have in mind for my car but its like some of us prefer black wheels, hyper chrome, or perhaps even some offset or a staggered look. To each their own (its been said a few times), however, I really don't like where they went with the paint. Maybe it looked like a good idea in photoshop. :p

That silver is a sweet paint, just a bad paint design and combination. I love the racer boy rear valance, as it goes beautifully with the pedestal spoiler. There again, I really dont care for the whole kit.

The color scheme is what I don't like. If it were different color choices then I'd probably like the cosmetic mods. White and baby blue is just not my taste in color.

Despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of powder blue Mustangs to begin with, I do admire good craftsmanship, and even though the end result is something I'd never be caught dead in, the work looks like it was well (if a bit over-)done.

I don't get the aesthetics of the paint dropping below the window line (seems visually "jarring" to me) and some of the "color for color's sake" causes me to say "huh?", but someone thought it worthy of a chunk of change in creating it, and beauty still resides in the eye of the beholder (till the gubment makes THAT decision for us, Comrade).

Since I prefer "subtle, understated and functional", and this is about as far on the opposite end of the spectrum, I'd find another way to spend $60k...

Reckon the real vote will be how long will it take to sell, and will it sell for the asking price???

I think that Mustang looks good, and it apparently has a considerable cost investment in mods. However, this Mustang is way too nice to be an everyday driver. It is for shows and cruise nights.

re: Does anyone else think this looks silly?

Silly? No. Unwise color scheme? Maybe.
But the car is a steal!! $63,000.00 went into it and
they're only asking basically $40,000.00 for it. Wow!![

Think I'll stick to my ugly Race Red 6 banger though. Y'all can fight among
yourselves for this prize. :-)

I hooked up my accelerator pedal in my car to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

It's one on those 1% cars, IHMO. 99% of the people will go "meh," but that last guy will just shove the money down your throat.

The trick is to find that one guy.

This is what people in 1979 thought the car of the future would look like, minus the wheels.

I think the wheels and engine are too much. The paint doesn't look too bad.
