SYNC Voice Recognition Issue

For some reason, the Sync system can't understand me anymore. Every time I tell it to call someone it dials the wrong number. Any advice?

Try reloading your phone book. If that fails, reset sync.

The forums on the sync site have a lot of good info too.

Yeah, I had some issues too. Just speak conversationally and not too loud. That seems to work best. Watch the vids on syncmyride.com, those helped.

Same here... I have to repeat commands and numbers constantly...

I don't speak often but when I do, I don't have clue what I am talking about. I just repeat things that I once heard and do not repeat them correctly... My doctor told me it was an ID 10 T problem and it was incurable.
So when I reply to a post or add to a thread I just find the words elsewhere and copy and paste.

Unfortunately I can't dabble with Youtube here at work but does anyone have the TopGear video of Clarkson losing his mind with the Mercedes VoiceCommand? It was early 2000's and I swore he was having an aneurysm!!

Every once in awhile I have trouble making phone calls, but it typically resolves itself after turning the car off and back on again. I find it very flexible. I say boobtoof audio all the time lol, and it knows I want bluetooth audio.

Mine has "lost her mind" three times so far.

The only remedy is to perform the full reset, then it is fine for months.

Pair the phone again and follow the prompts. Once your phonebook is reloaded you should be good.

The master reset button returns the Sync to the factory condition.

Just pair you phone again and you should be good for months.
