Stuck in Hellacious Traffic

2 1/2 hours to get home on Friday. I was loosin' it. So at one point I start talking to some of the people stuck w/ me thru my open window, misery loves company and all that. One guy in a contractor pickup and I were bitching about it and then he noticed my car. He leaned way over in his seat and said, "Nice car! Nice color too. Is that a Camaro?"

I was cool and didn't rag the guy. Pretty funny.

Ha! I sometimes talk to other drivers too. I had one guy in a panel truck ask me to turn my blinkers on so he could see the sequential tailights again...I guess some people are easily entertained. :kooky:

VERY NICE! I went to Potawatomi Casino this weekend and the Valet guy brought out a Jag something or another. Then brought out my car. He thought my car was an Aston Martin from further away. He was amazed it was a Mustang.

Did you win? I know that casino, I went to Marquette and used to live on the East Side.

lol, reminds me of the honda kids vs mustang owner video.

"hey man, what kind of car is that?, it looks sweet, i though it might be a honda accord or something, something with V-tech power.."

I have a theory that some people have very low visual accuity.
It's as if they don't see detail in objects, only the rough shape and color. I personally know lots of people that can't tell cars apart even when they're completely different models.

Of course then you have other people who are just automotively ignorant. They're the ones that couldn't tell you a single fact about their own car outside of it's color and make. Those kind of people couldn't tell you if they had a 4cyl, V8 ofa nuclear reactor under the hood. They just don't care.

I mistook a Camaro for a Mustang the other day... All I could see was the Red back end of a convertible and wheels that looked kind of like Saleen wheels, well when it came closer I realized my mistake. Those things sure look better with no top.
