Tell me what you think of my stripe idea ?

Hey guys
I was origionally planning on doing a Boss stripe, but have been thinking and came up with this idea
This was just a quick photo shop job, the corners won't be so sharp, plan to round them off

The plan is to use 3M reflective black vinyl, with a black 5.0 badge to replace the chrome badge

so what do you think??
Any sugestions are allways welcome

Looks good, one concern is how the black 5.0 badge will look on the black stripe. May want to keep the chrome one..

They remind me of 2012 Roush Stage 3 stripes.

I personally like that style.

Well may use the stock emblems, but since the stripe will be reflective was the reason was thinking black emblems
Hopefully when I remove the emblems, won't find holes in the fender, but everything I have read says there are holes

Didn't think of the roush stripes, but yes your right does have a similar style

looks a little more like the stripe I had on my Lightning, though that was paint

If I don't find holes under the 5.0 emblem, will cut the 5.0 out of the vinyl and use the siver for the 5.0

Don't believe there are any holes under the 5.0 badge. It is just an adhesive backed stick on.

Never argue with an idiot. People watching may not be able to tell the difference.

FYI - There are actually 2 small guiding / positioning holes on each fender under the 5.0 badges. Each emblem has 2 pins which go into these holes in addition to the 3M tape.

Thus if the intention is to remove the emblems, and then apply the stripes, and not replace the emblems, you will see the edges / contour of the holes under the stripe film.

In addition, if you are replacing the 5.0 emblems, be ready to buy new as some of the adhesive peels off when removing. Trying to "fix" it does not look good in the end.

Good luck!
