Sad Day at YerBuddy's Place...

1200+ miles and today my baby had to be driven in the RAIN!!!!

It's Ford's fault and I won't stand for it!!! I'm considering hiring an attorney to get this fixed. My dealer says they won't do anything to help me with this "Rain on my parade" issue/problem...

Sorry...couldn't resist.

Good thing I used Wolfgang's Sealant:

The rain didn't stop me from installing a few little bobbles though (not much, but it's a slow process $$$):

I took the stock floor mats and put some 3M double-sided tape w/Velcro and attached them to the mat and the Weathertech liners to keep them in place. So far it's working

I also added the Strut Brace and the hood bra this afternoon (along with a few shiny pieces):

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a nice day and I can play with my newest toy:

With the way the water is beading I honestly don't think I'll need this rotary anytime soon...unless I do my wife's...

Mine still beads up nicely 2 months after using the Turtle Ice Polish. Good stuff.

I see you have the ultimate cupholders, as do I. How do you keep them from flopping around? Mine are constantly shifting. I was considering gluing them in place, maybe using Velcro. Not sure.

How is it that you're a detail guru, using a flex rotary, and you have a front bra on the car which you know is going to give you swirls.

C'mon man, you're better than that lol

Hmmm...I'm not too sure what the point of this thread is, but good luck with that. BTW, we don't drive exotics, so I wouldn't let that "rain" thing worry you too much .

I like the Ice products as well, I always use the spray wax after washes and in between normal waxes.
The liquid polish is good though, huh?

The hood bra does not give swirls at all. If I were to use the complete front bra then I'd agree with you. The hood portion is already covering a small rock chip that I got the first day...doing 100+MPH on the Autobahn will do that. Also, since I just got the flex, and haven't used it yet, it will handle any swirl action that may arise. That's why I got it.

I haven't had a problem with the cup holders shifting on me yet. They did in my last vehicle, but not in the mustang for some reason. I actually love them; especially, with the weathertech liners...just in case.

Which cup holders are you using? I have the web site saved, but can't remember which ones are known to fit.

Agreed, I use the detail spray after every few washes, really maintains the finish. Both good products.

Their window cleaner sucks as does their ICE claybar, that actually dulled my clear coat, I'm friggin' pissed about that.

Did you wax or polish after the clay bar?

I believe they are the 5 series. I had a 5 series BMW when I first got them so I think that's what I ordered. They area little long so maybe that's why I'm not seeing any shifting as of yet. Not really sure.

Yes, I put a swirl or two on my hood w/ an old ****** towel while drying. I thought I'd try the clay bar to get the swirls out. Used plenty of lubricant spray, went over the area w/ very little pressure and now there's an area of dulled paint, right on the tip of my hood. F*CK!

I waxed it repeatedly w/o effect. Used the detail spray also. It's pretty damn obvious. Stay away from the Turtle Ice clay bar!
