The autos are more consistent and when making big power, are then indeed quicker than manuals. Stock for stock a good driver with a manual would get to the stipe first.

Probably are under most circumstances. With slicks on both cars its a different story.

I saw what you were driving there and im thinking you dont have to look over your shoulder too much either. What is that car of yours? 525hp /460tq...about the same weight as a standard bt..but with larger brakes and beef up suspension???

Thanks dude. It is a Roush 5XR. It doesn't have the big brake option but it does have all of the other Roush upgrades, suspension, supercharger, tune, full exhaust. Pretty much the 12 Roush Stage 3 just in 2011.
