And it would be interesting to see on a non-saleen grilled front end as well.

issue is, i think they're the same but that the pictures are different in every way. one has matte stripes and it throws off the look

You might be right, I was thinking maybe it's the angle of the photos that makes the difference, so I've tried to find 2 shots with similar angle, and this is how it looks:
They're very close, the VIS might be a bit more square on the scoop and more open...

What about weight and quality, I mean why is the Saleen almost double in price?

seeing it from that angle the silver car has glare and you cant see the hood line but I change my mind the VIS looks better now

Other than the unobtainable Shelby GT350, my dream mustang look is Saleen hood, complete Roush front end and Shelby GT500 rear lol. I'm just a Saleen hood away

Glare, as in, you can't see the lines cause the paint has a reflective surface, you know the scoop lines run back to the window but you can't see that in the pic... awe, never mind... I like the right pic better...

I would go with the Saleen if I had the $$ but if I ended up with the VIS I would not be disappointed. BTW that pic of Alex's car is incredible!

The only difference I see is that thevis is more narrower and a little taller than the Saleen. IMO the Saleen does flow with the lines better than the vis. VIS stands out a little more and looks kind of aftermarketee.

I know it's not one you want, just thought I'd post it though, cause it is a Saleen hood...

Yup, plus it's from the previous Mustang. I don't like that anyway, but thanks.

I agree with Daryl, here: the Saleen goes so well with the lines of the Mustang that it looks from Ford. The VIS is very close to it, but the differences makes it look more an aftermarket (which both are) hood. The Saleen was my first choice, yes it is expensive, but I think I'm gonna stick to it.
