My commute is 110 miles per day. I will daily drive my Mustang from April though Nov and then drive my Subaru STi for New York's winter months (Dec - Mar). I will also mix in the STi over the summer. If I don't do this, my Mustang would end up like my last Mustang. 133,000+ miles when it is paid off. I need to have two cars.

I just got my GT, buy only drive it Thursday evening to Sunday (days off) and will be using it on trips. I have a 2010 Cobalt as my daily driver and winter beater. Where I work I have to leave my vehicle overnight twice a week and even though it is in a fenced yard, I don't trust the area as it is right next to the stadium and a higher crime area.

This is the first mustang that I have owned that I am going to use as my daily driver. I am sick of buying some econo box to register, insure and keep up while my mustang sits in the garage. My car will also be driven this winter. I don't keep cars long enough to worry about them so I will treat this like every other daily driver I have owned.

Don't get me wrong it will be well maintained and cleaned often but I refuse to let it sit in the garage.

My commute is 126 per day for 10 months. I'm glad 85-95% of it is highway.

I'm looking to acquire a 2 seater as a second car, so in addition to my dd/year round (winter driven) my '11 GT is also my sensible practical car.

Traded in the STi for a 2012 Ford Focus. That will be my new winter car. My goal is to keep the Mustang down to 12,000 miles per year or so. By the way, the Focus is awesome.
