That is amazing. Just Beautiful. I would have the front bumper a different color to break the lines up, just like in the last picture, but maybe black or chrome. Also, I don't like the quarter windows, they just dont like right. I think its that really square straight lines in contrast to all the curved ones. Everything else is really amazing. Thats a lot of work there, and very talented people. Congrats.
Yep. Quarter windows look like an afterthought. This "conversion" would look 100 times better on an on an 05-09 body.. or at least better with an 05-09 front end since it was more retro.
Either way.. id take one in black

Thanks guys for your replies not often will you please everyone when you modify a Mustang even a brand new one. There are many things about this car that are not perfect, but when you consider that a 22 year old aspiring craftsman spend nine months of his time building it, pretty much all on his own with no money other than his salary from working his farm job, and some help from an old timer owner of a body resto shop the results are pretty decent. I could only image what we could build if we had a decent budget to build from like some of the big Dogs, but as it is, the Reversion Mustang attracted a lot of interest at SEMA. Yes Steve Saleen, stopped in to visit and thought it was pretty cool, along with many other Big name car guys and TV personalities. It is of course a work in progress as well, if any one wishes to send in some funds then we can further refine it, such as the qrt windows we could use a check for about $22,000 to make them just perfect in tempered curved with a modulated molding around them! But until then the way we did it cost about 200 bucks and is fine for now, remember this is a prototype and design exercise to see if the new Mustang has potential. I think we are close, it usually take about three to four prototypes before you get something every body likes! Any takers for #2 ?
I found a few pictures of my old bucket of bolts that I custom built back in 1990 and a few more of Johnny Sparks and his creation hope these help show the serious nature of the metal work that went into the Reversion Mustang. At SEMA there were a lot of Mustangs many of them over the Top! The Reversion Mustang is clean and back to basics a reflection of a timeless classic blended into the modern platform with all the safety, comfort reliability, high tech, and now style! We herd at SEMA that we were the most photographed Mustang there?? Look for it in several magazines this spring.
Johnny Sparks and his custom Mustang "Reversion" made it out to the 50th Shelby reunion, and then to the Ford event at Knottsberry Farm, hope you got a chance to see it, and it will also be appearing in an upcoming issue of 5.0 magazine so keep an eye out for it there as well.
We had an opportunity to take the Reversion Mustang up to Detroit to participate in the Hot Rod Power Tour, John and I also stop by the X car Garage and Ford design bldg, a few curious on lookers came out to check it out!
It looks amazing in person. I saw it at the proving grounds (and again parked at a gas station on the way to Muskegon and so on and so on..) and it looks great from every angle. The flat red paint really stands out too. Beautiful car and awesome fabrication work. Wish I had the finances for #2. You'd have a check in the mail.
