Nice Mods! Not sure why the stock fuel system was yanked? It'll support 550RW without a problem. One customers 2011 put down 600RW with the stock injectors and pump and one that just left the shop put down over 700RW (Vortech 12 lbs with Meth and a new Boss intake) with only an injector change:?:

I guess it's better to have and not need, then need and not have. For a shop that is pushing the limits, they are going to look at everything.

Great performance and great guy to deal with.

That race weight is enviable and is key. Mine was about 600 lbs heavier. New build focuses on weight reduction and redistribution...still to get it his down to about 3000 lbs is quite something

I would be very curious to know how they got the weight down that much even after adding the cage!

Cannot speak for JPC of course, but my ex-car is 400+ lbs lighter with new build, so closer to 3200 lbs. We did it my deleting most everything on the car, that does not contribute to a 1/4 run, while maintaining sufficient structural integrity. So car is no longer streetable.

A ton of wiring & wiring-harnesses were removed. A/C, heater, audio, windshield wipers, interior panels, and such gone. Kirky racing seats saved quite a bit. Also moved stuff from nose to mid or rear section of vehicle. Like the 5 gallon fuel cell in trunk and one large transcooler located where stock fuel tank used to be, rather than behind radiator.

I can only imagine that JPC's budget allowed for some very sophisticated weight reduction...maybe lighweight brakes (expennnsssive)? Also helps some that the JPC car does not bear the weight of FI. Regardless, Justin's builds are always innovative and super impressive
