Mustang GT Bummer Week

So I took the car in for the first oil change and to get the ACM as-built reprogrammed for the Boss 302 wheel. That part went great. The quote for fixing the door/shopping cart ding was $450. They have to do the body work and re-spray because it is on the crease above the rear tire. If I ever find the @$%@%@^% bleeper that did that to my car.....

On the way home from the dealer, a huge rock hits the windshield right above the hood and splinters a 4" crack. It has already spread to over 14". So now I'm out $450 and a new windshield.

Sigh. So much for the new suspension this year and the visit to firebird with prosport.

That sucks !!
Sorry to hear that happened.
It pretty sad that you can't even bring your car anywhere with out having to supervise it because some jack BUTT will hit your car.

Your comprehensive coverage on your insurance may pay for a new windshield, no costs to you. I'd look into it. Good luck.

Agree. Just make sure they don't use inferior glass. You should get Ford glass or identical equivalent. I've had some glass replaced by safelite that was complete s**t. On another note, I'm in the damage club now as well, some awhole backed into my lf fender while parked at home depot, and of course left the scene. Looks like some heavy object mustve been sticking out of a minivan or small truck. fender needs to be replaced, headlamp, and damage into the facebar cover and apron. Nice. Not so much worrying about getting the metal replaced/straightened as I am about the paint matching - even though it's black.

2012 Mustang GT Brembo, 3.73, all weather mats, rear parking sensor, Gibson Stainless Axlebacks. 300a. Rousch takeoff leather interior, Boss 302 steering wheel. Mustang Club of MD.
