Cam Idle Tunes Release from Steeda

Hey Guys,

CAM Idle tunes will be available by Friday of this coming week.

Price for a cam idle tune will be 90.00 and will initially be only released for manual transmission vehicles.

Automatics should be supported sometime next month and will be the same pricing.

Thanks for the support!

Thanks

TJ

How does your tune affect catalytic converters? How is your support for future mods when using a cammed tune?

The delayed release is to make sure daily driving is proper. Gas mileage should be similar and converter life should not be affected.

I will have to ask Gus about the future mods since I have not spoken to him about that yet.

Thanks

Hey Guys,

Here is an update from a member at mustangforums regarding the Cam Idle Tune:

Fordplay has this to say- "OK, first off steeda did not pay me to say anything, OK now I've only had a few hours with it but the idle... wow shakes the car !! Nicely it clicks in and out smoothly and flawlessly, second the normal tune is more explosive than bama race tune, again, only the first night driving it but wow.. also zero smell after 10 minutes idle, most important its makes me smile just thinking about driving it,

Also he followed up with this- "OK so day 2, visited my friend with a 69 camaro running a cammed 454, he could not tell the difference, he swore it was a cam which was fun, I told him it was just a tune ... eventually. Next the performance side the revs appear to not drop between shifts which not only provide a smoother shift but a faster one also, the car also has more effortless acceleration..over all thank you steeda this is a quality tune. Most times after buying something you get a buyer remorse, not with this"

Best Regards,

TJ

V6 is still in testing mode. We are hoping to have it completed late April. It is a complete separate tune.

Whatever flips your flopper.

I like to (at least to some degree) have form follow function, and this just seems like clipping playing cards into the spokes of a bicycle.
Or maybe sticking a 5.0 badge on a 3.7. Instead of visually trying to suggest that something that's there is not, doing it with software.

2016 GT Premium black out 6 speed.

If I pick up a cammed tune from you for 90 dollars can I also get a copy of of the tune without the cammed idle so I can run with or without?
