I think the V6 is sweet. I own one. But I'm also realistic about it.
I like to look at the C&D Lightning Lap times for comparison. Certainly the GT does beat a v6PP around the track. However, the v6PP is faster around the track than the old (2006 and 2010 were both tested) GT. The thing to consider though is that the v6 had the 112mph governor on it. So what I've always contended has been if you removed the governor and put in some steeper gears, you might just close the gap on the GT or at least make it a driver's race. Brute HP isn't everything because the Boss LS beats all the Mustangs around the track including the GT500s.

I think Hector's car is awesome, what's not to like? Its a Mustang, and it hauls ass down the track. Sounds great to me! Good luck Hector in your endeavors.

CFM's 3.7 has et'd better times than my pushrod 5.0 with a Vortech..
