Will Techron bottle work in Cap-less fuel filler?

Hello:

I was wondering if the Techron bottle would work in the Cap-less fuel filler of the 2012 Mustang, or do I need to use the LONG funnel?

Thanks, and have a nice day, Bill

Works fine for me without a funnel.

You should have a white funnel in your trunk for such cases. I remember reading someone used some fuel system cleaner, maybe redline's and it spilled out all over the ground.

+1. You need the funnel In the trunk on spare tire. Funny story... Went to put fuel stabilizer in for first time. I thought it sounded strange going in. When I moved the car forward into the garage, I had a giant red puddle in the driveway. That is when I learned about the funnel.

You beat me to it; it wasn't until AFTER I needed it I found out I had one in the car already.

I did this same thing myself! I looked for a dunce cap near to wear.
