So happy about this thread! My GT has 1000 miles on it and after a long drive yesterday I heard this near the end of the ride on the passenger side. Later I got back in the car and the sound was gone so I thought I musta been hearing things, then towards the end of the next ride it was back. This thread popped up just in time. Glad for all the info.

Hello Charliebrown08,

Your vehicle must be fully diagnosed and the concern duplicated in order for your Ford dealership to attempt any repairs under warranty.

If anyone is experiencing any concerns, I recommend you make an appointment with them as soon as possible. If you need any further assistance, please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate this for you. Have a good one!

Dealer won't fix problem

I'm in the same boat. I have a video and even had the service rep ride with me. He heard the problem, but the "Service Manager" couldn't replicate so they told me to come pick my car up. They had it for 3 days and they made me schedule my "Warranty Appointment" 2 weeks out. They basically shame you for trying to get your car fixed and make you feel like an idiot when you start pulling out videos and TSB numbers. Then they had the audacity to tell me that if I brought it back I would pay for the repairs because my Ford Premium Warranty wouldn't cover wear and tear. Holy crap I only have 2500 miles on the car. What the hell kind of wear and tear is that? Luckily I've got a good attorney and enough motivation to slam them on every single website I can find. Hence this post.

I tried to PM the Ford CustServ profile, but the inbox was full. I do think this whole Ford Social media thing is a great idea. More companies should do it. Maybe they will fix problems before guys like me make it their hobby to speak-out.
