If you didnt clear coat, those are going to get dirty looking really quick. Asphalt suggested I do my rad. cover silver to match my car, but I kept it black with buffed out clear coat




The clear will really protect that.

what kind of clear coat would you suggest?

I did use 2 coats of Rust-o-leum clear coat in matte finish, but I'm not sure how well that would protect.

Single stage (canned) clear is good for looks and mild protection, but you MUST use 2-part for protection (like what's on your car). There are companies now that sell 2-part in a spray can..you activate the can, then you have 24 hours to use it up. If you dont want to bother with it now, see how it holds up then redo it if you have to, but looking at that dirt from where you live, I dont think it will hold up.
