Dimensions of GT500 lemans stripes?

Hey guys, I'm having matte black racing stripes painted on, and I need to know how wide the regular gt500 lemans stripes (not the skinny ones), in addition to the size of the gap in between. Anyone know?

I was wanting to do same to mine. Of course I'd prefer painted versus stickers. I don't want to get into your corn flakes but approx how much is it gonna cost to paint em?
You gonna do bumper to bumper?

Well because it's being done after an accident he's able to it the cost of them into the repair. I am paying to have the rocker stripes painted on though...150. I'm having them look like the gt500 rocker stripes...just two small stripes...I feel like it matches the lemans stripes better. And yes, bumper to bumper. Wish I could find the dimensions I need though...

Painting stripes on will cost about $2k if the shop knows how to do it. The most expensive vinyl stripes (where they paint a sheet of vinel and cut your stripes out) will run $1300, but you can buy stripe kits for as little as $150. I would advise AGAINST going as cheap as possible. I saw some cheap silver ones on a GTCS at work, and after just one year, they were fading in patches. It really looked crappy.

In any case, the stripes should be straight on the roof and rear, but should taper in the front starting at the base of the windshield and getting narrower at the front lip of the hood. This makes the stripes look like they're a consistent width when someone is observing the car in their rear view mirror. The gap should be no wider than 2 inches. I got 10-inch stripes (with a 2-inch gap), but because of the tapering, they're not 10-inches at the front of the car.
