Leftover 2012 GT Sale price?

Hi All,

Ive been a big fan of the mustang for some time and always thought about buying one. So happens i'm in the market for a new car and i believe I have come across a good deal. I found a leftover 2012 that a dealer is trying to get rid of, MSRP was $35,420. Going to edmunds seems like invoice is $32,999. They are willing to sell it for $28,300. I'm guessing this is a great deal?

Seems great, what options? I got a 2012 with 3.73's 401A, Manual for 30k and change out the door last November with rebates.

Even without knowing the options on it and all that I gotta say yeah, that's an awesome price. My MSRP was $36,105 and I feel like I stole my GT Premium for 29,602

Better go snatch it up, QUICKLY before it disappears

I could never figure out what the taxes and tags and stuff are, they do have a $500 processing fee tho? Not sure if the $28,300 would come up to 30k out the door or not.

I wonder if it's because of the mt82 why they are going so cheap?

The same transmission is being used in the 2013, so it can't be because of that. They're that cheap because they need to clear the lots for the new model year.

The reason its cheap is because they have a bunch of new 2013s in and this 2012 just sitting in the back so they just want to get rid of it.

That's not bad at all. I picked up my 2012 GT/CS last month for $31,200. MSRP was $39,210.

Damn!!!! I bought my 2012 last summer. Worst possible time for 33k. if I would have waited until now probably could have got it for like 29, 30! I couldn't wait, and there wasn't any 2011 left overs to buy at the time.

I would be trying to get rid of the 2012's at that price too - considering the 2013's look so much better.
