Thank you everyone! It's great to be back. Myself and fellow brother and sisters in the military appreciate your support. To answer the pay question we get paid very well especially if your higher ranking. I came home with 30k sitting in my bank account. I love the new ride. I can't wait to get the first oil change so I can put exhaust on it.

Thank you blackiangt!
I'm sure you're glad to give up the hostile fire, family sep, and per diem, to be back home!
At least the $30K was well spent. She looks beautiful.

I was on an Air Force base over the weekend, and I saw a Boss 302, a few nice Challengers and some other nice cars/trucks. Military gets paid decent, and you have alot of young guys with low overhead, no families and money in the bank. Makes sense to me, and in the case of guys coming back from combat zones, a well deserved reward for surviving hellish duty.

I would do the same thing, except it would bug me having to park it out on base with no shelter for my baby at all!

2011 GT premium/Kona/saddle/manual
ordered 8/2, built 9/2, arrived 9/22

Well I live off base on a ranch. I have my baby garage kept. But it's still a pain to keep her clean. We in the military are big muscle car fans and love spending our money on them. I was at the base today to go to the exchange and saw an 08 gt and a new challenger sitting next to each other. :smilie
