I can't believe people actually use that brush at the local car wash. All it takes is one small pebble caught up in the bristles and your paint job is toast, not the mention that the bristles themselves are probably very stiff and could mess us the paint all on their own.

Don't let anybody wash your car! Yikes. That hurts. I would definitely go back and ***** them out. Got my car on Monday and told them 1) Do not mount the front plate, 2) Do not wash anything, 3) leave ALL of the plastic on inside and out.

Took me 12 hours (two nights) to get all the plastic crap/shipping labels off, wash the car (correctly), clay bar, and sealant. This includes inside the doors/trunk/hood. I use a big yellow bone sponge and two bucket method to wash. I use the sponge twice and ONLY twice. They are a $1.99 after all.

The Turtle Wax Ice will not do that good. You need a machine to get the swirls out. I have the Porter Cable. It is easy to use and watch the tutorials on Autogeek.net. It is a great investment if you own a Black Car and want to keep it looking great. They are great with the advice. I had a 2007 Black Mustang GT. When I traded it with 80k on it it was 90 percent swirl free. Never let anyone wash my car but myself. Never went through the swirlamatics.
