19" charcoal AMR on my black 2013

got these installed yesterday. AM shipped them out and I recieved them in four days, can't complain. the paint on them looks awesome but i'm not totally won over on the look on my car. idk what it is but it's missing something! maybe some lovers or lowering kit ... i think i'd like the wheels alot better if they were painted black.

and yes for any who are wondering the ride does feel different from the stock 17inch wheel, but this could be partly from the used tires i bought .... oh well.

the combination of the wheels being a dark color, but a passive color compared to the body color of your car and your tires having a super high sidewall is making it so you almost dont even see the wheels and it makes it look "funny". Not bad, just not as good as it could look. Like the person above stated, if you bought lower profile tires it would help a lot, but then you'll have more space in between the wheels and might need to lower it as well.

You need already to lower your Mustang by 1", and it will already look better trust me.

Now on the color, it's really about what YOU like, I was set on the RTRs at first, that are very similar to the AMR in term of shape and color, but at the end I went for the SVE that are really black (matte black) and a bit different, and I do love these wheels very much, they're just perfect on a black Mustang!

What you can do with yours is having them powder coated in black, or matte black, that's what I did with my previous stock wheels that came in grey. And it did make them look better! The reason I've changed is that I wanted larger tires and some wheels that fit the wheel wells correctly, which I have now.

the color is growing on me, but i do plan on plasti dipping one to see if i like it better matte black, and if that is the case i'm going to spend the money to get it powder coated.

The very first thing I'd do is Armour-All those tires a couple of times. Your tires look like poo and are dragging the rest of the car down.

Those look great, and just lowering it would really make a big difference.

Personally I think the wheels go perfect with a black car, I saw your post and thought a pic of mine might help you!
