Have $100 to spend on detailing

So guys decided to pop onto Adam's Premium Car Care - Cleaners, Waxes and Polishes Made in the USA to just look at stuff. Well I saw the 15% off deal. So run to my father and ask if we could split the costs of the car care stuff after discount and he said sure. So I figure I can spend 40$ myself. So, $100 limit brings it to $85 and then split it brings it to $42.50 a piece. Can go a bit more but prefer not too. I already have a heavy duty porter cable just need the supplies. Any suggestions ?

There is a rumor that Adam's polishes are just Chemical Guys products with Adam's labels. Checmical Guys will re-label products for other companies....it states it on their website. That being said, CG is cheaper also. I can tell you that Adam's detail spray and CG speed wipe is suspiciously similar...same smell and color....everything. Just something to consider when making your purchase.

Honestly Adam's is a waste of money. Its like freaking 50dollars for 1gallon of car wash. I have used it and the results look the same as if I were to use Meguiar's. I would never waste my money on that over priced crap. I know they have Adam's car care guys on the Camaro forums suckering them idiots into buying it. Its like people see 50 dollar car wash and thinks that makes it better.

I know theres some things that I wont pay, but a good wax or something with that 15% off seems decent or maybe griots garage? I know that stuff works amazing we have had that kit but its depleted now, since we got the kit 6 yrs ago.

And thanks for the chemical guys thing, will surely look into it!

I can personally recommend the CG's based on using their products. I have used their Citrus wash, v38, v36, cut 1.0, Speed wipe spray, and their VRT to name a few. All are good products. I bought a gal of the speed wipe. Love that stuff.

Are these the same ones where they brag about how the SS is faster and always make excuses why their car doesn't win?

I use Poorboy's World. It's not terribly expensive and it's safe to use in the sun.

I'm a DA noob, and I have only used Lake Country CCS 5.5". White and Black for polish, blue for wax, though I have found it easier to wax by hand

I use Chemical Guys stuff too, from speed wipe, clay bar, spray wax, to tire shine, interior cleaner/conditioner & microfiber towels, pads etc. I didn't go with the pre-made kits, instead I picked & chose from their assortment of products. I do everything by hand & don't use polish much since it wears down the paint.

The bottom line is I see lots of great results from many different product manufacturers.
