Foose Legend Rims 18x8.5 Fitment on 2011+

Was wondering if anyone is running these Foose wheels on their 2011+ model, w/o brembos. Over the phone, American Muscle reps were unsure and said that one 2011 owner used them with no fitment issues, but another owner claimed to have had some problems; both apparently had standard bakes.

I vaguely remember a forum post to this effect, but couldn't dig it up after several searches. On paper, they seem like they would fit fine with a +34mm offset and 6.1" backspacing. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I returned a set of Foose 18x9.5 rims to AM in late April and have standard brakes. The wheels looked great but they did not fit at all...couldn't even crank down with a single lug on because the spokes were hitting on the outside of the braker caliper housing. Here's the post with details from AM where they confirm that we (11+) would need to use a wheel spacer with them.

Now, my problem was with 18x9.5 rims and not 18x8.5 rims like you posted so I don't know if you would have the same problem, but I'll let someone more knowledgeable about sizing answer that one.

I'd recommend against getting the Bullitts from AM in 18", see this post.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Mangarr, I really appreciate it. That's exactly the post that I was trying to find. Unless someone from AM (or anyone else for that matter) actually does a successful test mount with these 18.5's on a 2011+, it seems accurate to conclude that they won't work without spacers.

Capo,

I apologize that you were given choppy information. That wheel with the 11+ does rub. We have seen cars running them but they ALL have spacers.

It seems you already got the correct information, just wanted to touch base!

Hit me up if you have any questions!
