Widest Tires On 8.5 Wheels

I just had a question for those tire specialist out there. Ive done a little research and it seems as if everyone has a different opinion. I know this was already discussed here awhile back, but there was not a solid answer. What is the widest tires I could run on my Breyton GTS-AV wheels? Currently I am using the stock Pirelli P-Zero's 245/45/19.

Here are the wheel specs.

Wheel spec: 19x8.5, 35mm offset, 72.2mm centerbore

Look for the specific tire you want to get and check tirerack.com for instance. They will show you what rim range you have. I'm going to assume most of your options are going to be no bigger than 255.

Awesome man, I really appreciate it. I am on the fence whether to buy a new set of wider wheels and tires or the widest tires I can go and keep these wheels.

Sites like that will say 275 is the widest you can go, and maybe extreme

255-265 section width is about it on a 8.5 wheel, 275 needs a 9" wheel minimum.
