Cat back vs. Axle Back!?!?

Hey guys, currently I am running just my roush axle backs rest of exhaust is stock, I had a really great deal offered to me for a Magnaflow catback exhaust system. Is it really worth it to get the catback over say just swapping out the mid pipe and using the stock pipes with the roush axle backs or does the 3 inch tubing really make that much of a difference? Any dyno videos on this to show gains from a catback?

Between those choices the difference is in the sound. If you are going for a noticeable performance gain the catback will not get you there by itself.

Roushes are considered loud. If you are talking about the Magnaflow Competition catback then it might be 5% louder perhaps(with the loss of the resonators). If you are talking about the Street catback(which I have, 5.0 btw) then you will get maybe 10-15% quieter but with a very smooth exhaust note.
