Another Bama Tuner question

I installed the updater software (I have the SF3/X3) and loaded the driver for the device. I selected "Check for Updates" and it is telling me the tune version needs updated. Should I proceed with the update or will this affect my three custom tunes? I am not sure what they are trying to update....I am scared to death of actually installing the tune and messing up the car lol.

More importantly, where did everybody put their custom "Tuned by Bama" ID plaque ??

They'll be fine just make sure your car is stock when you update the tuner.

Waters,

You will not hurt the car. I would reload the stock tune back to your ECU then file for the update, that will update all of your software on the device. Then reinstall the tune!

If for some odd reason it does clear your tunes(which we have never had happen before), we can send you a revised file if need be!

I hope this helps!

Thanks Dan....I actually just received the tuner so haven't even applied the tunes yet. I was just concerned about doing any updates labeled "tune revision" on a device with custom tunes...I had visions of the update changing the custom tunes that you guys applied.
