Installing 3" Mac Flowpaths

Thinking of welding some 3" Mac Flowpath mufflers into my existing 3" Flowmaster American Thunder cat back kit. I am going to remove the Delta 60 series 3 chamber mufflers of course. Would anybody have any experience as to advise me if this is going to sound like crap. I want it loud but little or no drone. I have had Mac 3" exhaust kits on my 2003 cobra and 2004 GT and loved it.

I just want to add some more deep old muscle car sound to my mustang.

I believe it'll be deeper and sound better (much less tinny) but some say the drone is really bad.
