Exhaust help. Want it louder.

I have the magnaflow street catback system with a o/r xpipe. The mufflers are pretty big (chamber) was looking to switch it over to something else ( just the axle back) would the bassani axle back go hand in hand with the magna flow over the axle pipes?
I have a buddy with a cobra who has it done and it sounds great.
what's y'all two cent?

Sounds like you want an axle-back that is a muffler-delete type. Magnaflow makes one and Heartthrob makes one. I just order the Pypes Pype-Bomb and that's pretty close.

Your car with the bassani will sound nothing like our buddies cobra with bassani exhaust. It will sound good and not as tinny raspy as your magnaflow and won't be as loud but wont sound anything like his cobra.

See if someone will switch out and trade you for the Competition axle back part of the system. If you keep your over axle pipes, you're stuck to only take offs of other cat back systems with slip type joints. You'll need your OEM over axle pipes or something like a JPC over axle kit to expand your horizons.

Edit: Nevermind, i didn't fully look at the last part of your post. You're right on target.
