Just watched this video of the 2013 GT500 vs ZL1
I found this video to be interesting. They show in the video that the shown lap the GT500 beats the ZL1 by .5 seconds on the full Leguna Seca Race track and really beat the ZL1 in the 1/4 mile race...well I'll let you guys see the video and post your two cents on it Ford Shelby GT500 vs Chevrolet Camaro ZL1! - Head 2 Head Episode 11 - YouTube
Its unfortunate that, dispite all its technological advances, the Zl1 is inferior to the GT500 in everyway but the stock breaks.
Its no surprise with the direction GM is taking these days.
Instead of investing in improving their product, they seem to be tossing it all in advertising.
They have great ideas such as that suspention system, but it seems other companies are better at applying it lol.
Heres an older thread on this btw.
I guess even magneto suspestions cant make a hippo dance lol.
I was surprised by the final out come of the video after everything and just means those that go for the GT500 will turn to the after market and do one minor upgrade. It still was nice to hear the exact reasons while it is sad for the final out come that they still had a lot of good things to say and kept things professional and at least it didn't seem to be biased one way or another
There is always a bias in meda, even the news LOL.
If you believed everything you heard on the radio in Germany around 1934, God help us all. . .
Its why you drive the cars before you buy them. Or try to LOL.
very true, I just meant it didn't seem as though it was a very strong lean one way or another or at least not too much so.
You should note what Randy Pobst states at 11:51 of the video. It speaks voulmes about the outcome of this test LOL.
If you gonna track the car, you gonna mod it to your liking anyway. "Weak stock race track breaks" becomes a moot point. . .
yea, I found that an interesting point that he made
Not surprising at all that the lighter more powerful car wins.

No doubt about it Randy was physically working harder in the GT500.
