New Shelby MT82 Shifter and Bracket

Like many things Shelby branded, a little pricey, not too far out though.

Looks like Barton's hardware rebadged. Seriously, I can't tell a single difference between my current shifter bracket and this one. Same bushing style, same hex head screws, same approximate size. Same text font. Same material.

can you say....?
BARTON!
I wonder if Barton makes it or if there will be lawsuits over the design...

I agree with all the other comments... BARTON! lol

And not even the new 2-port style bracket; FAIL.

This could be where all the overstock went to. Branded as a different name to push the product. It's a smart business strategy without being shady unless price drastically went out the roof, which in this case, it kinda is a little steep for what it is.

Shelby lists the Barton shifter as an option on their GTS and I think the GT350 as well. This is not a new thing.

It's new in as much as it is now Shelby branded, has "Shelby" on it.

Heck, the name alone makes it better, right?

I'm just going to convey the info posted above. Why the Shelby name is on it and being sold at a higher price is beyond me.

On a side note, after hearing that Barton is coming out with both an MGW-esque complete shifter assembly and also a flat chrome shifter arm a-la Hurst I am anxiously looking forward to new true Barton products!

That Shelby bracket also looks like the SR performance bracket that AM has on sale.
