You're welcome. That's a good deal you found, esp. with the free shipping.

So you're going to end up with what looks like a stock GT with a CS valance? Will you have two sets of fog lights? Are you going to keep the grille surround black, or paint it to match the body?

Quite happy with the surround and grille.got from fleabay for $130 with fogs. Not sure yet but from what i've learned, these cant be mixed and match with the CS set up. Would be a good mod if i can make it work. maybe have the GT surround painted body color. What worries me is the fog light wiring might not make it to the GT grille.

This is what I have:

This is what I want:

IOW, a Boss 302 nose with GT foglights. I want to keep my stock fogs, a tri-bar pony emblem in the middle of the upper grille instead of the big running pony, the grille surround painted body color, and a GT/CS lower valance. You'd think it'd be easy to get there, yes? Um, no, not so much.

That second pic looks nice. Im torn between painting the surround since the CS surround is already body color. I'd like to try the all black set up in the front first. same as your set up in the first pic only with the CS front valance.

Ive also thought about just plasti-dipping the pony in the grill. And ofcourse theres the eleanor grill which looks great in my opinion with some nice stripes but I cant seem to convince myself to put stripes on my car haha. Any opinions? The attatched pic is the front end of my car as it sits. The rest of the car is basically stock except for the staggered chrome Imola wheels and the massive Borla tips.
i just got the roush grille havent installed it...but its the most well made grille ive seen!!

and really not trying to be a d!ck, but your worried about keeping a car stock in apparence and you have the giant blue oval in place of your plate!? that doesnt add up for me...but to each thier own.

Unlike the GT, the Boss grille (2012 version, anyway) is a single molded piece. I bought one on eBay, with the intent of opening up the blanked-off dummy openings to accept the stock GT fogs. Unfortunately the dummy openings are deeper, more tapered, and smaller in diameter than the real openings on a GT. The Boss grille also lacks the fog light mounting tabs on its back side that the GT grille has.

So, what I presumed would be a simple exercise is proving more difficult than anticipated. I just haven't had time to mess with it and try to figure out how to get it done.

Me too! But I may just settle with the DG Custom hidden fog light grille with a tri bar pony emblem mounted on the driver's side of the grille.
