When I bought my car I was going to wait to do exhaust until some kind of kit came out to do this conversion. I then got fed up with waiting and ordered the 11-12 GT500's and called it a day. A week after installing them I see the LMR kit.... Doh!

Damn, that DOES look good. All this time I was happy with my GT/CS / Boss rear...but I may end up doing this, too.

Quick question for everyone.

In order for 11-12 models to make this work and look stock one needs to pretty much get 13 bumper wit valance and tails right ?

I think cutting 11-12 rer valance will look jacked up.

I understand the 11-12 valance is a completely different shape, and will not work. At least, that's what it said on the Late Model Restoration video for this valance that was on Youtube.

Ever since I found out about this mod, I can't stop thinking about it! It looks so freakin' awesome! My CS rear valance is very similar, but the openings for the exhaust aren't as wide. I love the 11-12 GT500 exhaust but these quad tips put it in a whole different league, and change the look of the car. Love it!

Did you need any hardware or does it just work with whats already on the car?

hardware: i used less then what i ordered. need to update that.

difficulty: Bumper was clearly marked exactly where it needed to be cut. couldn't be more straight forward. buy yourself an airsaw before doing.

thanks for the compliments. i'm really happy with it.
