Home audio/video (although I haven't put up my surround speakers yet.)

Espresso. Grinder + Machine = a good chunk of cash.

I've built my own computer, but I wouldn't call it a hobby.

I'm a music geek. I have a studio in my spare bedroom where I record and write music. I've got all kinds of expensive toys in there, some are keyboards that cost more than an old fox body mustang chassis!!!

For me it's my car (no matter what I'm driving), guns, and computers. Since I'm overseas all my guns are stored back home. Can't have them here which makes me very unhappy.

Here's a few of the computers I've built while I've been here:

I slowed down on just about everything. My real wallet-drainer is having two kids in college.

Yup.

My kids got me hooked on FPS games.

Oh really? Same here!
My setup is pretty modest but powerful, mostly Korg synths (Triton, prophecy, EMX and a Virus (Access).

I've spent far more on music gear over the years than my car(s). I can justify the music stuff because I'll occasionally get a paying gig of some sort so I've almost broke even on my gear...almost . I've done everything except country and my last writing gig was for an iphone game which was fun. The video game music market is huge and I wouldn't mind doing that full time.

My house. I've put off the dumb stuff and now is the time to start. I think I'm selling it this spring/summer.

Cars have NOTHING on what a house can cost to "mod" and upgrade!

I'm into home theater in a big way. I also used to be a huge cutlery collector but I've sold off a lot of my blades. I used to have over 150 folders, fixed blades, balisongs...you name it, I had it. I also love fitness and weightlifting so some of my money goes to supplements and public athletic events.

Wife and golf! - these are the two that can drain my wallet in a hurry! Besides the car I am not sure who or what costs more!

Oh and at least 1 major holiday a year, 2 weeks Negril, Jamaica

Which ones?

I'm currently sort of playing Planetside 2 when I have time.

I'm not sure if guitar counts. After I bought my Schecter Hellraiser C-1, I haven't had wondering eyes for another guitar. Completely happy with it.
