Btw I can't help at notice that AM dodged the question about including the tunes WITH the Intune..... probably still in the negotiating phase with that.

Dan,

This may be a dumb question and I understand if you can't answer this...

If we get the DiabloSport Intune through an outside source, say.. C&L..tell you guys its a DiabloSport Trinity, you can send us BAMA free tunes for life and its under the 36k warranty??

I'm willing to do this.. just saying

Not sure about the warranty, but when you order a custom tune you have to send Bama the "LTW" or "Last tune written" to the car. This can be either the Diablo Tune or the stock backup. You'll know which is which when you look at the files on your computer. All Bama needs is the LTW and to know that you need a DiabloSport tune. You can use the online order form. It has a section for you to upload the tune file to them. Very very easy.

And You're welcome everyone! I figured I owed it to DiabloSport and Bama both to spread the good word. Both company's have treated me extremely well and I have nothing but good things to say about both. My car runs like a raped ape and sounds awesome. My only problem now is traction

If you want to chase the dyno all day that's cool, but last time I checked what's important is how you do at the track and how fun it is to drive, not about some number from a dyno (but you'll see those too when you check). We have taken care of the A/F ratio and your knock sensors still work. I'd just do it. You can tell from what Chris is saying, we're here to back you up. If you're worried don't be, the tunes will make your car GO!

Hey AM_Dan,

Do you have any marketing jobs open at AM because I have a great idea. Why don't you expand the partnership with Diablosport and start carrying the InTune with Bama tunes----I bet it would a winner. Maybe a performance bonus for me if it flies. I'm confident I would have some other good ideas too.........

Yeah, I always planned on waiting until my warranty is up before I get some 3.73's and a tuner. This makes it much harder to wait.

I might break by spring!

Just got back from a ride in the car. I love it. The OR H-Pipe is AWESOME with the stock mufflers. Loud when you hit the go pedal hard and NO DRONE when you cruise. My wife says it sounds like a "race car" now.

damnit guys. You are really making this hard on me. I think I might spring for the intune one day and just use diablos tunes.Their numbers seem impressive but will diablo adjust the tune if you are not happy? Just curiou, I understand if you dont. My dad keeps saying no but I
might just say screw it and buy it haha

I'm telling you, for a "canned tune" the Diablo tune was impressive. Obviously I didn't data log it, but I heard no ping or any abnormal engine noises.

Heh, I did this morning after my post last night- oops. I just don't think you should worry about the A/F on the dyno or your power number so much as trying the tune and see how it drives.

I can assure you that there will be no issues with knock, and there will be no issues with your warranty.

Making tunes is what we do, we wouldn't release them if they were dangerous. Heck, we wouldn't be in business if they were.

Also, if you're worried about A/F Ratio, why not log your LTF1 and LTF2 and see how much fuel the car is adding or removing at part throttle and WOT most importantly?

The inTune will let you look at those parameters and if there's bolt-ons on the car you can tweak your fueling and spark to get it dead on.
