Pony projection mod

Has anyone figured out how to make the pony projection lights stay on via an installed switch or something so that u can leave them on when u want? I think that would b cool

Yup. I installed these in my daughter's 2010 GT and wired them so that the passenger side map light switch turns them on.

if you buy the entire mirror would it just be plug and play or did ford actually run completely different wiring

I don't know about other years but I did this on a 2010. It was definitely not plug and play on the 2010 as there were no wires in the door for these lights.

very interesting...well looks like i gotta mod...im actually surprised they run completely seperate harnesses...
