Question about factory hood scoop.

So someone was telling me the factory hood scoop is bolted on. I want mine gone but don't want to deal with the holes if thats true. Anyone know for sure??

As far as I know it is bolted on with 2 or 4 bolts.

Well crap I guess maybe I need to drive around looking for a black Mustang and ask them if they want to trade hoods. lol/

positive they are bolted on if I remwember right there are 6 bolts maybe 8 and yes it will leave quite large holes, I've replaced my hood now so I can't verify how many but they will be there. happy thanks giving
