Now we're getting somewhere. Not so much with the carbon fiber love shifter extension. Those are pretty common place in the japanese cars i'm used to and doesnt really apply to the initial question.
I like the black collar. At least it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like the polished ones. I'm really just looking for a knob that sits as low and as close to the collar without having that thin cylinder between the knob and the collar.
Worst case, I'll end up fabbing something with a heavy knob and some magnets to hold the boot up to the knob. (yeah... I said it... Magnets)
