Garmin GPS with Bluetooth

Hi,
I have a Shaker 500 on my 2012 Stang and an iphone 4 working in SYNC.

If I add a windshield mounted Garmin GPS with Bluetooth, will it just confuse the issue or be compatible with SYNCH and work as intended?
Will the GPS instruction, or the incoming phone call take priority, or will they step on one another?
Thanks

I haven't had the best results with Garmin GPS bluetooth connections my iPhone 4, (the Garmin kept forgetting the connection) but I hope that it works out well in your application.

You could just turn off the bluetooth on the Garmin if you are worried about the phone picking favourites. That's what I do with mine (not that I use it much).
