How does a road test that needs a driver mod/cooler weather/lower elevation or all the above constitute a lemon? Not to mention you have some serious hardware on your car.

Motorweek is consistently much slower than other published tests for every car they test. Are they testing in Colorado?

2013 Sterling Gray Mustang GT- ( Bone Stock)

2009 Silver WRX- ( traded for 13' GT)

I bet if my Grandmother was driving my car you could beat her in a race. Would that mean there was something wrong with my car's performance and that I should take it to a dealer right away?

No I think around the New England area.

Yes there is something wrong, but a dealer can't help you with that problem.

That video had already been posted and it still cracks me up when they say the 2013 is a WHOLE lot better than the 2012. This was also a stock automatic and I don't recall a mention of what gears were in the car.

The OP does have an impressive mod list. Think what that 5.0 would do with the same mods.

12 GT Prem 5.0 (Sold)

Eh, I've got both. The '13 is OK, but it ain't a helluva lot better than the '12 if any at all. And, the gloss black deck panel is a finger print magnet.

They test in Owings Mills, MD. I think their numbers are more real world, as compared to someone who's out to bang gears and burn rubber. Having said that, I think they're a bunch of old farts.

I would assume since that car was Brembo'd it would have to be 3.55 or 3.73. Either way that 0-60 and 1/4 mile was shameful.

I can't see the vid so I will take your word for it.

If the above is true, then the only gear option it has is 3.15.

I bet they use Capitol Raceway, which is not top-tier in terms of track prep.

Nope, all autos have 3:15's due to the higher lower gears in the transmission.

Motor Week's times always suck. Toss in a better driver and better weather and you are in the high 4's where they should be. Not to mention that 13.5 @ 108....I've seen bone stock autos run in the low 13's high 12's all day.
