We get it already. You live in a world where people buy cars in full cash, have perfect credit and get negative interest rates, where the banks actually pay them for taking out loans.

...Moving on...

Thank you. Things vary by area, tired of this subject myself.

I find it pretty ridiculous that cell phone companies run credit checks, just for you to be able to open a new account. I'm sick of the direction we're going with modern cell service. You don't buy your phones, you lease-to-own them, they cost more than a desktop PC, and require "special" plans that tack-on additional costs.

Next phone I get is going to make calls and text. That's it. I dare them to try and bill me for anything more. :p

Certain companies place limitations on their services if you (and this is absurd) have a pre-paid phone.

This may not bother the majority, but in my line of work, it affects me.

Again, dumb future of cell phones... Lol.

they rub credit, because your legally binding into a contract and they want to see if your good for it or not...and will either charge extra deposits or not...now if its pre-paid it wont matter...

i agree its crazy what people will pay for thier phone and its service, but we do...id be lost with out my phone and its the only phone i have...i have unlimited everything for 50.00 a month, i always buy my phone on the free deals they do...so my phone doesnt cost me much. also because i live in a good cell area my phone is my wifi hotspot so i run my xbox, computer, ps3 and tv off it and dont pay for cable...love it!!!

you want to get phone companies, cable companies, internet companies to not gouge us...we must all collectively cancel thier services and trusr me, their board or directors and top execs will take pay cuts on order to keep getting a paycheck...but until we do that, it will never happen.

prime example of this is netflix, about a year or so ago, they doubled the monthly rate from 9 to 18 (or something)...90% of the subscribers canceled thier service 2 months later they dropped the rate back down, before the company went under...if enough people dont pay it the price comes down, its economics 101 - supply & demand.

i agree they exist and it's awesome for them to be able to do that....but every one i come in contact with that refuse to use credit aka penny pinchers...is always f---cking doom & gloom, when someone talks about using credit...it's the sky is falling, don't ruin your life, oh the horror!!!! it gets old...credit used wisely is fine and can be a good thing.

if i told you, that i could give you a 100% return on a million dollars in 2 years (and for the sake of arguing, it would be 100% full proof and it would happen), but i needed the money today and the only way you could get that was to take out a loan for 1,000,000.00 and pay 300k in interest, so when its all said and done, you made 700k for taking out a loan...would you not take out the loan?

granted we are talking cars here and there is no appreciation in them, but people who finance them, its their hobby..some people golf, some people travel, or gamble...i finance my car pay my interest on it because its my HOBBY and thats what i spend my money on. To have a car i love to spend countless hours in and gets me to my job where i earn my paycheck...

so i choose to have a nicer car with my disposeable income, instead of spending that on a movie, or a new chair for my house...its all relative, you dont see the point, fine...i dont see the point in hoarding money and driving around a beater car (because outright i couldnt afford a new car...so i choose to pay a little extra in order to have a bad ass car)

This reminds me of a joke i read years ago that i'm about to butcher.

A teenage boy collecting carts at the local grocery store see's a Rolls Royce Phantom glide through the parking lot, coming to a stop in a nearby space.

The boy, having only seen a Rolls Royce in magazines, excitedly ran up to the car as the owner got out. He looked at the well dressed woman and said "Awesome car! How much are the payments on something like that?". The woman chuckled, shook her head and responded "You don't finance a Rolls" as she walked away.
