Tires for V6 OEM wheels

Ok guys. I need some new tires come next spring
My car now has 225/60-17 BFG Radial T/A so yea not so great

The Pilot super sports seem to be the best but I wonder if there are cheaper almost as good of a tire out there. I do not need snow or cold performance since I have two sets of rims. Any opinions around the $7xx range?

I paid 700 for my Bridgestone potenza re760 high performance tires installed mounted and balanced on my wheels. They came in 4th place in the car and driver tire test everyone talks about and they stick like glue. My friend has stock pirellis on a premium 5.0 and up a canyon he is screeching through turns because of his pzeros that I just glide through. Very nice tires and supposedly they have a 40k tread life. Whisper quiet tire noise as well. They hook up very nicely too. They make a little noise than just hook up and go. Traction no matter what is always available even in a very hard 90 degree turn going 40 mph.

If I were sticking with 17s, I'd get Continental DWS in 235/55-17.

What are you planning on doing with the tires? A/S or summer only? I had the same BFG's you had and I had no issues with them. I thought they were pretty good, actually.
