Are the basic tire pressure gauges accurate? What type do you use?

I have the following:
Amazon.com: Slime 1023-A Pencil Tire Gauge 10-50 PSI: Automotive

These are cheap and basic...do you find them to be accurate...or which do you prefer to use? I also have this item:

Slime 40026 2X Heavy Duty Direct Drive Tire Inflator : Amazon.com : Automotive

The difference between the 2 are about 3-4 psi...

you have to test several, most of the time when 2 out of 3 (or 3 of 4) match those are the correct ones. The same theory works when buying thermometers avoid the one that read off compared to the others.

backyard science...

2012 V6 traded in for a 2017 VW GTI.

I have two Snap-on gauge type with a flexible hose attached, 0-100 psi. They read within 1/2 psi- close enough for me.
