Makes me think of when was 16 and I tried to deliver packages of pictures for a photographer, in the late eighties. I tried it in my 1956 Chevy with a very strong 350 and ridiculous rear end gearing. I was getting about 8 miles per gallon and literally lost money on every delivery. Had to give it up after a week.
Na, makes perfect sense. As someone else said, this is no doubt the owner's ride, which he can now write off as a business expense. Farking brilliant advertising too.
I worked for them back in the day, Im surprised anyone with a Shelby would put that sign on their car because the bottom part that contacts the car isn't always smooth and WILL scratch your paint. (My old car figured that out the hard way). Probably staged, no way they would cover gas delivering sandwiches. For every good tip I ever got there were 2 people that wouldn't tip at all.
