Who knew Christmas came twice a year!?

The parts are here, just waiting on my updated tunes from BAMA/AM. I submitted them a few hours ago so I should have them here for next weekend's install.

I ordered the Ceramic BBK LTs and the MMD Hood Struts from AM and the Shorty Catless X-Pipe from Lethal.

I installed the hood struts already and I have to say, they look really good! I am not sure why Ford didn't have these on the car already..?

Install was... OK. I did it by myself and really didn't have any issues until the very end. For some reason when I went to install the second strut, the top hole on the upper bracket would not line up properly. I tried all different combinations and techniques but finally I somehow managed to force it in there The only thing left is to Zip-Tie the washer fluid tube to the passenger side strut.

But all-in-all, it was worth it. I like how the hood opens further and it really does look OEM.

I'll post more pictures, videos and a review once the install is complete. Soon after the install is completed, I hope to get the resonators & Roush AB out of my brothers GT. This should sound pretty damn good

Yes it is! His name is Maui. He used to be extremely hyper but he has calmed down a lot. He is very very smart yet extremely stubborn.

Yep doing the headers myself. Gonna use ramps and jack stands. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

I have heard the v6 and GT installs are very different. The only thing that needs to be removed on the v6 is the old hardware and the strut tower brace (if necessary).

Thanks Dan. You guys have great product, fast shipping and excellent customer service.

Quick question though, do I need to take my car back to the stock tune before I upload the newly configured tune? Or can I just go from one to the other?

Thank you for the kind words! We really appreciate your business and loyalty.

You can switch right to the other tune, but we recommend switching back to stock first. The main reason behind this is if something were to go wrong when downloading the new tune, whatever tune was on the car at that time would be saved as your "Stock" tune.

I would suggest just taking the extra 5 minutes, switch back to stock and then upload your new tune!

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
