Many people post threads in this section even though technically they may not belong here. They do that in order to actually get legitimate traffic and posts in their thread. Not only that, but the majority of members are in 2011+ talk section anyway, and the thread creators want their feed back and their views. So moving threads to dead sections of the forums is useless. It would be fine if this site had traffic all over the place, and those sections werent dead... Thats not the case though.

For example when a member got a Ford Taurus SHO and posted it here, it was locked and or moved to another section. Pretty stupid if you ask me, especially since the OP wanted feedback and responses from people in this section, mainly the members he has been interacting with this entire time. So it would make the most sense to post it here.

Kenv, you dont have to go out on a limb and start moving threads around. You here to keep the peace... almost like a baby sitter... but for grown men on the internet.
Yep i'm with you, i post something here and the mod moved to community forums mustang lounge its really dead! and you close the thread of the op (https://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...t-beat-v8.html) because I think you have a v6 mustang i have v6 too and i dont get mad if someone says that the v8 its better, its just the reality, dont get mad for that men is only the opinion of others

If its not Mustang related it goes to whichever forum it belongs in. If your brother in law just bought a new Buick yesterday- Good for him_ but who cares? this is a Mustang site, which is why we have a variety of different sub sections. That's the way the owners set the site up 10 years ago. I only stopped moving topics around to their "proper" sub forums because I`m waiting to hear from the owners. Its their site, & they can run it as they see fit. Seems like its been working out pretty well for the last 10 or so years. They will tell you that if you don`t like the way things are, you are always welcome to start your own site & they will wish you the best of luck, honestly with no disrespect intended. If I don`t hear from a higher up soon, I am going back to moving threads to their proper forums because of the complaints I keep getting from members. Eg. no one with a 2014 GT gives a hoot about questions on how to fix something on someone`s Mustang II, & no one with a V6 cares how often I change the oil in my Cobra. If a sub forum does not get a lot of traffic, it does not get a lot of traffic. Until/when it gets changed , that's the way it is. For example, I agree with some members that there should be a V6 talk forum, but have not heard from "the powers that be" on it after suggesting it, but I`ll keep trying. I am now going to lock this thread, because some folks don`t want to stop taking shots at forum staff members & a couple have even earned a vacation at "ban camp" this evening. I`ll close while we are still ahead. If there are any more "reasonably constructive" comments that may help the site be a more enjoyable place for Mustang enthusiasts you may always PM me & I`ll be glad to pass them along. Have a good, safe, productive day.
