Are Ford Racing's GT500 ABs Identical to OEM ABs on GT500?

Just bought 2011 GT500 ABs from Ford Racing through American Muscle and I was curious if they are exactly identical to the real deal GT500 mufflers. Are they OEM parts, made off the same factory line as the ABs that go on the cars?

By the way, I love them, just wish they had rolled tips. You can barely see them in pictures looking at them straight forward.

Also, boy they stink! I'm guess this is because they're brand new.

I have no idea if they're identical, but I believe the OEM supplier is Borla.

Gotta love all the machine oil left over from manufacturing, that's probably the smell

I would assume they are identical. They should have SVT stickers on them.

Yeah my smelled like oil and welding funk.

Yes, they were stock on the 2011-2012 GT500s. That is why their cost is so much lower then other "after-market" AB's - they were volume produced for the GT500s. By the way, mine got louder and deeper after about 10,000 miles.

I hated the rolled tips on the stock mufflers.

Auto or manual? Ford put different mufflers on autos and manuals.

yes, these are the real deal stock GT500 Mufflers that are offered on 2011-2012 GT500's.

I'm glad to hear you're really enjoying the sound. Wait till you get a set of Long tubes or an O/R X-pipe! I run Long tube headers, O/R X-pipe and the GT500 Muffler on my 2011 GT and I love the set up. They do stink pretty bad at first, once all the chemicals burn off that will go away!
