I like the 302 on the hood, but at this point would replace the 5.0 on the fender with a "Powered by Ford" emblem like used on the Shelby GTS.

It could, admittedly. I'd have to see it on the car. I think it'd be okay seen in context with the other copper accents, but perhaps not.

I too prefer cubic inch designations for American V-8s. But the problem with "302" decals, in any color or any location, is that with the hood open it conflicts with the "5.0" on the engine cover. IMO that's points off for a car being shown. I have some pony tri-bar emblems for my car that have "5.0" at the top. They were available in a "302" version, and I really would have preferred those, but after a lot of thought I decided it would be wrong to have both designations on the same car.
